Your Hunting Guide

Rick Peterson found a passion for hunting at a young age. Rick and his wife, Barb, moved to Arnold, Nebraska in 1981, partially due to the amazing hunting and natural beauty of the landscape. He began teaching at the local K-12 school, and upon retirement was teaching the grandchildren of students he taught upon first moving to the community.

Rick’s passion for hunting has never abated. He travels annually to Western states to hunt antelope, deer, and elk. If you like hunting stories, Rick has some great tales to share!

Rick feels Watkins Ranch is some of the best hunting in the United States. He can’t wait to use his skills in both hunting and teaching to help you fall in love with the land and the wildlife that lives there.
